Acne Studios Melbourne doubles in size

Swedish luxury fashion brand Acne Studios has reopened its Little Bourke Street, Melbourne store after extensive renovations.

The opening coincides with the international launch of its Fall/Winter 2022 women’s collection.

Set within Melbourne CBD, Acne Studios on Little Bourke Street has doubled in size, now spanning 215sq meters.

The new retail space uses a minimalist approach, with the walls and ceiling made of white high-gloss stucco lustro and light grey marble floors with a textural sand-blasted finish.

The interior décor includes dyed blue canvas furniture with a batik pattern, matched with lighting design by Benoit Lalloz.

Designed by Max Lamb, the dyed blue canvas furniture with a batik pattern sits boldly within the store landscape, illuminated with lighting design by French designer Benoit Lalloz.

The in-store look is headlined by a mirrored cube which houses the service counter.

The store features an additional area with a lounge and fitting rooms, providing a private space for clients.

The opening coincides with the release of its FW22 collection, which features a collaboration with Paris-born artist Martin Laborde.

For the Acne Studios collaboration, prints of horses, flowers and fruits are displayed on a long green satin slip dress with tie-up straps (pictured).

The range also includes a sky blue lurex t-shirt dress, white satin shirt, pale blue mesh poloneck, green oversized hoodie, white longsleeve t-shirt, short-sleeve t-shirts in pink or white, cropped white top, white trousers, and square silk scarf.

The Martin Laborde print pieces are available in Acne Studios stores worldwide and online.
